My role at ThisWorks
Hello, I’m Nicoletta Papadopoulos, Junior HR Consultant at ThisWorks.
I joined the team in March 2026 and support employees and colleagues with the practical steps involved in international employment. My work includes coordinating information, answering employee questions and helping ensure that processes are communicated clearly from the beginning.
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, I have always been surrounded by people from different cultures and backgrounds. That experience has shaped the way I communicate and is one of the reasons I enjoy working in an international environment.
Before joining ThisWorks, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree and began my career at a company where people and team culture were taken seriously. That experience showed me how much a supportive working environment can influence the way people feel and perform. It is something I continue to value in my work today.
The international nature of the EOR industry is what interests me most. Every employee has a different background, employment situation and set of questions. Working remotely with colleagues, clients and employees across different countries gives me the opportunity to learn from those perspectives while developing my knowledge of HR and international employment.
As I continue growing within the EOR field, my focus is on becoming a reliable point of contact for employees and contributing to an experience that feels organised, transparent and personal.
More about me
Outside of work, I spend as much time outdoors as possible. Hiking and exploring nature are my favourite ways to recharge, especially after a busy week.
I also enjoy discovering new places and experiencing different surroundings. Growing up in South Africa, with its landscapes and cultural diversity, played an important part in developing that appreciation for both nature and people.
