Hi! My name is Tarun Arora, and I work as a Payroll Specialist at ThisWorks. I joined the company in February 2026. Although I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering, I chose to build my career in the international payroll industry. Looking back, it has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made. Since beginning my professional journey in 2019, I have worked with several leading payroll organizations, developing a strong passion for global payroll and compliance. Over the past 6.5 years, I have built my career in payroll, developing expertise across various aspects of global payroll operations. In 2023, I transitioned into the rapidly evolving Employer of Record (EOR) space, which proved to be a pivotal step in my professional growth. Since then, I have worked with a number of organizations within the EOR industry, gaining valuable experience and insights. Working at ThisWorks has given me the opportunity to work on a different side of the business, with greater involvement at the ground level. This has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of operational processes and how various functions come together to deliver a seamless experience, I look forward to grow with the company. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and love going on outings with them. I am also passionate about outdoor sports and enjoy staying active through various sporting activities whenever I get the chance
