My role at ThisWorks 

Hello, I’m Vladislava Pavlenko, Marketing Manager at ThisWorks.

I originally joined ThisWorks as an HR Consultant, supporting employees and clients across Germany and Poland. In this role, I worked closely with international employment, onboarding, payroll, immigration procedures and local compliance requirements. This hands-on experience gave me a strong understanding of the questions and challenges companies face when hiring employees abroad.

I later moved into marketing, combining my practical HR experience with my academic background. I completed a Master’s degree in Marketing Management at Tilburg University in 2023, and the transition allowed me to pursue my passion for communication while remaining closely connected to the international employment industry.

Today, I use my experience from both HR operations and marketing to turn complex employment topics into clear and useful content. Through the articles published on the ThisWorks website, I share practical insights about Employer of Record services, payroll, immigration, employment compliance and international hiring. My goal is to help companies better understand their responsibilities and make informed decisions when expanding into new countries.
